In Destiny 2, a coveted raid achievement will soon finally be fixed, but not in the way many Guardians had hoped.
What happened? On the upcoming Tuesday, January 29, Destiny 2 will receive a massive update. In addition to sandbox changes to weapons and supers, there is also a fix that many raid enthusiasts and title hunters have been waiting for a long time.
As the developers explained in the current edition of “This Week at Bungie,” the bugged raid triumph “Diamantengleich” will finally be fixed. As a result, the achievement should finally be recognized by the game when performance is adequate.
What is this triumph? The triumph “Diamantengleich” can be found under the seal of the Black Armory and is awarded to particularly ambitious raiders. To unlock this achievement, the raid team must complete the new raid “The Fallen’s Curse” from the first premium DLC “The Black Armory” flawlessly. This means that no one may die.

What was the problem with Diamantengleich? No matter how hard the guardians tried, this triumph was previously denied during a flawless run and was not recognized correctly. Numerous teams have achieved this feat, even multiple times, only to find that a bug ruined their success.
Diamantengleich is also crucial for the new title Blacksmith. Due to this bug, no title hunter has been able to claim the new title of the Black Armory for themselves. Now this bugged raid achievement will finally be fixed, but not in the way many fans had hoped.

What did the fans wish for? Many guardians were pleased with this news. But when it became known that the annoying bug with Diamantengleich would soon be fixed, many fans wondered: Will this achievement be credited retroactively if they have already accomplished it?
After all, this is anything but a walk in the park. A large part of those who have already completed the new raid flawlessly wished that this achievement would now be taken into account retroactively.
But then came the disappointment quickly. As the community manager Cozmo23 explained on Reddit, while the bug with the Diamantengleich triumph will be fixed with update 2.1.4, the achievement will not count for flawless raid completions that took place before this update.

In plain text this means: Anyone who wants the achievement must do it all over again. And that’s exactly what annoys many raiders who have actually already done it. Many do not understand the problem. After all, it is even shown on some third-party sites that use Bungie’s in-house API, that a flawless run has been achieved – even if the achievement remains denied in-game.
What does Bungie say about the fans’ wishes? The excitement has not gone unnoticed by Bungie. Cozmo added that the team is currently examining whether this achievement can potentially be recognized retroactively in a later update.
