Bungie recently released the first self-created webcomic about the backstory of Osiris in Destiny 2. And once again, nothing escapes the Guardians. Hidden in the comic is a mysterious string that leads to an in-game reward!
Bungie wants to continue telling a strand of the story about Osiris with the webcomic that you can view here, a story that has previously remained in the dark. It was not clear under what circumstances Osiris was actually exiled from the Vanguard and the Tower.
But the comic doesn’t just unveil this mystery. On the last page, the Guardians discovered strange symbols that indeed have a meaning.
Morse code reveals meaningless combinations of symbols
The comic had been published for less than half an hour when Guardians started to wonder on Reddit about a strange combination of symbols on the last page of the comic:
What was up with this string? Some speculated a Morse code, but a translation yielded only a crude sequence of letters and numbers that seemed to make no sense:

For a moment, there was uncertainty – until a Redditor had the idea to enter the string in the redeemable codes on the Bungie website. And behold, the code was accepted!
String leads to an in-game emblem
The string grants you an in-game emblem when you enter the code on the Bungie website. The emblem is called “The Visionary” and is styled in the classic Osiris look:
Once again, the community proves creativity and sharpness – the whole mystery was solved in no time. Bungie is known for hiding such little secrets in and out of their games.
