In Destiny 2, the season of arrival is extended until November 2020. What new content should players engage with until the next DLC?
Therefore, Season 11 is extended: On the evening of July 16, Bungie officially announced that the highly anticipated “Beyond Light” expansion will be postponed. The new release date is now November 10, 2020. This means the DLC will arrive about 1.5 months later than intended – the original deadline was September 22.
As a result, the ongoing season of arrival will also be extended. It is now scheduled to end on November 10.
Therefore, the roadmap for Season 11 has been updated, and the schedule has been adjusted to the new length:

This is new: The Festival of the Lost will now take place in Season 11. This is the Destiny version of Halloween. The event runs from October 6 to November 3.
What spooky activities players will participate in this year or what loot is available is currently unknown. However, there will be:
- New masks
- New triumphs
- Mummified rewards
Additionally, Bungie announced (via This Week at Bungie) that ritual activities will be adjusted. Guardians can expect faster rank increases in Gambit and PvP.
The Destiny developer knows that this is just a small consolation, but they are planning more goodies for Season 11:
We know that no extra portion of ruthlessness or valor can satisfy your hunger, but we will have a few more surprises ready that we will share along the way to release.
These events will be extended: In September and November, additional Iron Banner events are set to keep players busy in PvP. Whether there will also be fresh rewards available or whether players can hunt the current weapons and perks is unknown.
The Triumph Moments 2020 will be extended until November 10. So you have (unfortunately) more time to tackle the challenges and have fun in the freshly revived raids.
