Chromatic Fire
Armor Slot: Chest Armor
Exotic Perk: Precision kills with kinetic weapons create an explosion of the element of the equipped focus.
Interesting for this playstyle: Chromatic Fire is especially useful in PvE when facing multiple enemies. Your kinetic weapons are enhanced with it. Precision hits cause enemies to explode and thus lower the elemental shields of nearby foes.
Phoenix Protocol
Armor Slot: Chest Armor
Exotic Perk: Your kills and assists grant you Super energy while standing in Well of Radiance.
Interesting for this playstyle: The Well of Radiance is the Solar super alternative of Dawnblade. The Warlock slams the Dawnblade into the ground and activates a large aura that heals and empowers allies. Phoenix Protocol enhances this focus path. Likely most interesting in PvE.
Controversial Hold
Armor Slot: Gloves
Exotic Perk: When you charge the grenade with “Chaos Accelerant”, “Consume”, or “Radioactive”, you gain additional damage resistance. Hits with charged grenades recharge a random amount of grenade energy.
Interesting for this playstyle: If you enjoy throwing grenades around, you get a suitable exotic with the Controversial Hold.
Geomag Stabilizers
Armor Slot: Leg Armor
Exotic Perk: When Chaos Reach super energy is nearly full, it is completely refilled by sprinting. Deal damage to enemies with Chaos Reach to extend its duration.
Interesting for this playstyle: The Geomag Stabilizers are designed for the new super of the Storm Warlocks. In this super, the Guardian fires a long-range beam of energy that deals good damage. The super can be canceled prematurely to save energy and then reactivated. This exotic enhances this super, which can become interesting in both PvE and PvP.
