This mysterious rocket launcher was found in the databases for Destiny 1 quite some time ago and received creative nicknames thanks to this icon:
In the English-speaking community, however, the name “Dubious Volley” has established itself. The reason: With “Rise of Iron”, two perks were implemented that are still inactive but can be attributed to this rocket launcher: Dubious Ordnance and Dubious Munitions. According to the weapon’s description, it fires “volleys”, hence the unofficial name “Dubious Volley”.
In the gameplay show, the rocket launcher was seen multiple times – meaning it is finally coming to the game with Destiny 2:
It is a rocket launcher that deals arc damage, but does not fire individual rockets, instead emitting several salvos of mini-rockets. From the footage, it appears these salvos are homing. However, further information is lacking. It is certainly exotic.
A fusion rifle with solar damage
In the same scene where the Dubious Volley is seen from the side, on the left is a second Guardian with a fusion rifle. This fusion rifle seemingly deals solar damage and has a rather exotic design with three circular energy nodes.
No Land Beyond in Destiny 2
When the developers talked about quests and NPCs that you will encounter in the worlds, this man was on screen. He holds the No Land Beyond in his hands.
This is an exotic sniper from Destiny 1, which is held in the primary slot. It is likely that the No Land Beyond will not be available for Guardians in Destiny 2. Ultimately, everything from Destiny 1 is supposed to remain. Nonetheless, it is interesting to see that an NPC wields this weapon in the sequel.
By the way: Besides the No Land Beyond, two other weapons from Destiny 1 were discovered in the gameplay footage for Destiny 2: Cayde-6 wields the handgun Pikass and Lord Shaxx swings the exotic sword Excisor.
