It now appears that the last secrets surrounding the Dreaming City of the Forsaken expansion have been uncovered. Players can now complete triumphs, earn new titles, and grab some unique rewards.
One of these unique rewards in Destiny 2 is the exotic Sparrow Echoes of the Herald. Here’s how you can get it.
Get the Wishender Bow
You need the Wishender: The first step on the way to the new Sparrow in the cool Persecuted look involves the Wishender. This exotic bow is tied to the mission “The Shattered Throne,” which is only available during the third week of the Curse Cycle.

Destroy all Corrupted Eggs in the Dreaming City
Now search for the eggs and destroy them: Only after you have obtained the Wishender can you move on to the next step. Because only this exotic bow can destroy the corrupted eggs. In total, 40 of them are spread out in the Dreaming City.
You can find them
- on patrol
- in the strike The Corrupted
- in Ascendant Challenges
- in the raid
- and in the Shattered Throne
This step may take some time, as some activities such as Ascendant Challenges rotate weekly, and some eggs are only accessible at certain times.
After you have destroyed all 40 corrupted eggs, you will receive the exotic Sparrow Echoes of the Herald as a reward.
What you need to watch out for: But be careful! Currently, there is a bug that makes the quest more difficult. Right now, you must destroy all eggs with one character. If you break even one egg with another character, you temporarily lock yourself out of the chance for this Sparrow.
Because the eggs are counted account-wide. So if you smash one, it will no longer be shown to your other characters, and you cannot complete the quest. Bungie is aware of the problem and is already working on a fix.
