With the Warmind expansion, Bungie is reintroducing numerous exotic armor pieces in Destiny 2. Some of these are completely new, while others will likely be recognized by many Guardians from Destiny 1. We present the exotic armor from DLC II for the Hunter, Titan, and Warlock in an overview.
Since the launch of Destiny 2, Guardians can collect 33 exotic armor pieces – eleven per Guardian class. With the Curse of Osiris expansion, on December 5, 2017, twelve additional exotic armor pieces were added. With DLC 2, another twelve exotic armor pieces were introduced on May 8, 2018.
You can obtain these items randomly from all sources that can drop exotic engrams. Sometimes, Xur might also bring them.
We present all the new exotic armor pieces from the Warmind DLC for Destiny 2.
The Exotic Armor of the Titan in the Warmind DLC
The Titan receives four new Exotics again:

Eternal Warrior – Helmet
Many Guardians are likely familiar with this helmet from the first Destiny. Its crucial perk “Resolute” allowed the Titan in Destiny 1 to use the talent “Unstoppable” in addition to another talent from the Striker skill tree.

What can the Eternal Warrior do? In Destiny 2, the helmet works differently now. Thanks to its intrinsic perk “Resolute,” the Eternal Warrior grants a shield to Striker Titans when activating the Fists of Chaos. Additionally, you have the choice between increased mobility and improved health regeneration.
Healer’s Armor – Chest Armor
This exotic chest armor also comes from Destiny 1 and was very popular in the first Destiny installment because it allowed Titans to receive an additional grenade.
What can the Healer’s Armor do? The function of the Healer’s Armor remains unchanged in Destiny 2. The intrinsic perk “And More” gives Titans a second grenade charge. Additionally, you have the choice between increased resilience and improved health regeneration.

Ashen Wake – Gauntlets
These exotic gauntlets, Ashen Wake, are completely new. As the name suggests, these gauntlets are aimed at Sunbreaker Titans.
What can these exotic gauntlets do? Their intrinsic perk “Things Are Heating Up” causes fusion grenades to explode on impact. Additionally, they have an increased throw rate. Furthermore, you have the choice between increased resilience and improved health regeneration.

Wormgod Caress – Gauntlets
This exotic armor piece is also brand new and not known from the predecessor.
What can this Exotic do? Thanks to the intrinsic perk “Burning Fists,” melee kills increase melee damage for a while. Additional kills extend the duration and increase the effect. Additionally, you have the choice between increased resilience and improved health regeneration.
The Exotic Armor of the Hunter in the Warmind DLC

The Hunter also receives four new Exotics:
Wormhusk Crown – Helmet
This brand-new Hunter helmet looks really special and resembles a creature of the Taken.
What can the Wormhusk Crown do? With the perk Burning Souls, dodging initiates health regeneration. Additionally, health receives a small boost when dodging. Furthermore, you have the choice between increased resilience and improved health regeneration.

Ophidia Spatha – Chest Armor
This is also a completely new Exotic for the Hunter.
What can this exotic chest armor do? The intrinsic perk “Slicing Hands” grants the Gunslinger focus of the Hunter a second throwing knife. Furthermore, you have the choice between increased resilience and improved health regeneration.

Sealed Ahamkara Grasp – Gauntlets
The exotic gauntlets, Sealed Ahamkara Grasp, might be recognizable to some fans of the Destiny series. This Exotic also appeared in Destiny 1. There, they provided the wearer with an additional melee charge, and dealt melee damage could automatically reload the primary weapon with a certain chance.
What can these exotic gauntlets do in Destiny 2? Here, the gauntlets have been slightly altered. Their intrinsic perk “Nightmare Fabric” now causes dealt melee damage to reload the currently equipped weapon. Additionally, you have the choice between increased mobility and increased resilience.

Fr0st -EE5 – Leg Armor
This leg armor is still well-known by many Hunters from Destiny 1. It granted the Guardian a tighter turning radius while sprinting, as well as increased grenade and melee recharge during sprinting.
What can the exotic leg armor do in Destiny 2? The Fr0st-EE5 function slightly differently now with their intrinsic perk “Rapid Cooldown.” They grant the wearer increased grenade, melee, and dodge regeneration while sprinting. Additionally, dodging increases your sprint speed. Furthermore, you have the choice between increased mobility and increased resilience.
The Exotic Armor of the Warlocks in the Warmind DLC
Warlocks also receive four new exotic armor pieces:

Brow of Truth – Helmet
This new exotic helmet is visually inspired by the Worm-God Xol. Guardians encounter this massive worm as part of the Warmind DLC storyline.
What can the Brow of Truth do? The intrinsic perk “The Fourth Magic” accelerates grenade recharge rates for you and nearby allies upon weapon kills with energy weapons. Furthermore, you have the choice between increased mobility and improved health regeneration.

Apotheosis Veil – Helmet
The Warlock helmet Apotheosis Veil makes a return as a well-known Destiny 1 Exotic in the second part of the series. In Destiny 1, it immediately restored health, melee, and grenade energy upon activation of the Super.
What can this helmet do in Destiny 2? Its perk “Insatiable” also restores health, melee, and grenade energy immediately upon activation of the Super in Destiny 2. Additionally, the class abilities of nearby allies recharge faster. Furthermore, you have the choice between increased mobility and improved health regeneration.

Sanguine Alchemy – Chest Armor
This Warlock chest armor is completely new. Its attributes can be utilized by any Warlock focus.
What can this chest armor do? Its intrinsic perk “Sharpened Senses” gives the wearer a better radar when standing in the Rift. Additionally, high-value targets are marked for him and his allies. Furthermore, you have the choice between increased mobility and improved health regeneration.

The Claws of Ahamkara – Gauntlets
These gauntlets were already very popular among Warlocks during Destiny 1 – especially in the Crucible. Back then, they granted the wearer an additional melee charge.
What can the claws do in Destiny 2? Compared to the predecessor, not much has changed. The intrinsic perk “The Whisper” grants the wearer an additional melee charge. Additionally, you have the choice between increased mobility and increased resilience.
What do you think of the Exotics from the Warmind DLC? Not enough new ones? Or are you actually looking forward to some of the already known Exotics?
