In Destiny 2, you can currently earn Event Sparrows. These have two special features. A heart specialist stumbled upon a cool Easter egg.
These are the 2 Sparrows: Currently, the Crimson Days are running in Destiny 2. As typical for an event, there is thematic loot for the Guardians. While there aren’t many new items this year, two Sparrows make players’ hearts race.
You can acquire the two vehicles from Lord Shaxx. The special thing: If you hover next to a Guardian who is riding the partner Sparrow, a holographic heart forms.
A pair of Sparrows that seem made for each other

The Sparrows are designed for “team play.” However, the names of the two Sparrows reveal an interesting Easter egg.
This Easter egg was found: On Reddit, a cardiologist spoke up and analyzed the names of the two event Sparrows from a doctor’s perspective.
One of the Sparrows is called “SVC-12”, the other is named “IVC-10”. He noted expertly that the names of the Sparrows come from medicine and relate to the heart:
- SVC is the anatomical abbreviation for “Superior Vena Cava.” This vessel pumps blood from the upper body back to the heart.
- IVC-10 stands for Inferior Vena Cava. This directs the blood from the lower body back to the heart.
According to the medic, the cooperation of the two veins closes the complete cycle of blood flow. However, he wonders what the two numbers in the names could mean.

What is Crimson Days? Destiny 2 celebrates Valentine’s Day with the Crimson Days event. Until tomorrow’s reset, you can enjoy the romantically decorated Tower and earn the two medically valuable Sparrows.

Unfortunately, this year’s triumphs are not new. Those who spent ample time on the Valentine’s event in 2019 will not find a new triumph carrot in front of them.
