Concept art for Destiny 2 has been released. These are from an artist from “King of the Taken”. However, they were discarded.
To be clear: The following images do not show concept art that was intended for Destiny 2. They are from the artist Aziz Dosmetov, who has previously worked on the “King of the Taken” expansion for Bungie. These works were found on his personal website and spread rapidly across the internet. However, they are discarded designs for the Destiny sequel.
In the meantime, the images have been removed from the website – and to avoid any misunderstandings, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier spoke with the artist. And Dosmetov confirmed: These images are no longer current; they were discarded.
This fact, however, does not make the following images any less impressive. Additionally, we get to see some details that Bungie at least considered for the future of Destiny. See for yourself.
