In Destiny 2, the Nightfall this week is the weapons dealer. Here are tips on how to master the strike in no time.
When Destiny 2 released on PS4 and Xbox One in early September, the first Nightfall was “The Arms Dealer.” Now, a month and a half later, just in time for the PC launch, the Arms Dealer is once again the Nightfall. This time, however, with different modifiers.
The Modifiers and Challenges of the Arms Dealer this week
In the Arms Dealer strike, you will face the Cabal. Your goal is to defeat the big boss “Bracus Tynoc”.
The modifiers:
- Rush: Abilities recharge faster. Use them to crush your enemies.
- Time Loop: Zero Hour: The mission timer cannot be extended. You start with 20 minutes or 16 minutes (Prestige).
The challenges in the Nightfall:
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
- Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
- Defeat a reaver while fighting Bracus Tynoc.
Tips for the Nightfall “The Arms Dealer”
This week, we have pleasant modifiers. This Nightfall should therefore not pose too great of a challenge.
- The most important tip: Use your grenades! In PvE, especially pulse grenades are powerful. For example, choose the Striker Titan.
- and take a build that gives you an additional grenade charge. For the Striker, this is the Code of the Earthshaker. Thanks to the Rush modifier, you can almost constantly throw grenades. Is an enemy with a shield approaching? No problem! Throw one or two grenades at their feet, and they are defeated. Therefore: Use your grenades constantly!
- Bring rocket launchers for the boss, for the tanks, and for heavy enemies.
- Once the charge becomes available in the early phase, grab it immediately, fly over the spawning enemies, and dunk it into the exhaust shaft. In this area, you only need to defeat the lieutenant, the “Exile Thrower.” Once he is dead, you can proceed.
- Because of the “Time Loop: Zero Hour” modifier, you cannot afford to waste time. Do not spend too long on enemies that you do not need to defeat. After the lieutenant, you can also run past. Then jump on a Sparrow outside and quickly drive into the ship to the tank.
- This way, you should have enough time to deal with the final boss at your leisure. Throw everything you have at him.
