The first teaser trailer for Destiny 2 has been released. Cayde-6 shares his story in “Last Call”.
Today at 9 PM, a teaser trailer for Destiny 2 has been released: “Last Call.” We are showing it to you here in German.
When will there be more official information about Destiny 2?
The teaser trailer primarily builds excitement for March 30th, which is Thursday. That is when the “Worldwide Reveal Trailer” for Destiny 2 will be shown. This will happen at 7:00 PM our time.
Then we should finally find out if Destiny 2 is really coming to PC. And we will probably get some other hints.
And yes, Bungie is serious: The announcement trailer for Destiny 2 is being teased with a teaser trailer.

This is exactly how Bungie operates. Fans know the studio well. They would never announce something as significant as a new game without a prior announcement.
What does the teaser trailer for Destiny 2 tell us?
First of all, the trailer clearly shows that Cayde-6 is returning for Destiny 2. The jack-of-all-trades captured the hearts of fans in Destiny with “King of the Taken” and gave the game personality.
Cayde-6 is voiced by “Nathan Fillion,” who plays Castle in the eponymous TV series. He already announced that he would be available again for Destiny 2. Recently, there have been hints that Cayde-6 will be included with certain editions of Destiny 2 as an action figure.
Furthermore, the teaser trailer shows that the Last City is apparently under attack. The attackers, who are briefly visible, can be identified as Cabal.

Everything fits perfectly with the rumors and leaks, that have been circulating for quite some time. This trailer also indicates that in Destiny 2, it seems that the initial conflict will be against the Cabal, and that the Last City itself is under attack.
The Cabal are the only race from Destiny 1 that hasn’t taken the forefront in any raid in the game yet.
And that Cayde-6 is a cool guy is evident from the trailer as well, but that was already known.
Small Differences in Localization
A small detail on the side: There are two differences between the German and English trailer.
In the German trailer, Cayde-6 apparently flirts with the cleaning robot in the Tower. In the English original, the flirting is absent, as Cayde only comments on the cleaning robot’s lack of reaction to his fantastic story with a “Well, you had to be there.”
By the way: The “Döner-Bude” in German sells “Ramen,” the instant soup in English. This shows that Bungie values cultural details.
