Destiny 2 - Collector's Edition: Hints of Cabal Emperor and New Character

In this Destiny 2 we take a closer look at the contents of the Collector’s Edition.

Destiny 2 can now be pre-ordered. For the biggest Destiny fans who are willing to spend a lot of money on their hobby, a Collector’s Edition is offered. This costs a whopping 249.99 euros (239.99 euros for PC) and includes, in addition to the main game and expansions, many items:

Many fans will view this content skeptically. Why is there a Frontier Bag, a “Outland backpack,” and this Outland Kit? What does that have to do with Destiny 2? An answer is provided by the product description on Amazon.

The Frontier Bag belongs to Hawthorne – An important character in Destiny 2?

It turns out to be a Frontier Bag, like the one Hawthorne carries. The name Hawthorne has not appeared in Destiny 1 so far. According to the Amazon description, Hawthorne was born in the Last City. She left the city as a teenager to lead a life of freedom in the wilderness.

For years, she survived without the protection of the Guardians and discovered her true purpose: to provide protection to humanity by not only helping them survive but also showing them how to lead a better life.

Presumably, the Guardians will encounter this new character in Destiny 2. What role Hawthorne will play in it is still completely unknown. Some fans see in Hawthorne the strange Exo from Year 1 who never had time for explanations. It is known that both women are not Guardians. The future will show if we will finally learn more about this Stranger.

Is this the Cabal Emperor?

An interesting look at the collector’s box in Cabal style:

In the center, there is a golden Cabal head (yes, this is what the Cabal look like without helmets), surrounded by golden adornments. Apparently, the new enemies depicted inside were also seen in the trailer:

The Cabal head in the center may possibly be Ghaul, the leader of the Red Legion, or even the Emperor of the entire Cabal forces. For now, this can only be speculated.
