At the start of the Star Gate raid tract, not even 1% of the participating players managed to complete the new passage of Destiny 2. Just over a week later, the situation is already quite different. Now one record follows another. We have compiled some remarkable performances for you.
Numerous Guardians still have trouble successfully mastering the Star Gate. The Redeem clan set the world’s first exclamation mark in the 2nd raid lair just 6 hours and 38 minutes after the Star Gate’s launch and claimed the World First raid clear.
Since then, top players have been continuously seeking new challenges. And some of them are quite something!
Defeated Val Ca’uor without weapons: The Cabal leader and chief villain of the new raid passage has already been defeated once again by some members of the Redeem clan and YouTuber Gigz – this time however completely without the use of weapons! With a “Hammer” performance of 6 Sunbreaker Titans (power level over 380), the team dealt with the tract boss without a single shot.

7 seconds for the boss: Several teams of high-level players have already succeeded in bringing down the raid tract boss Val Ca’uor just about 7 seconds after the start of the damage phase. A generally recommended combination of the following weapons and classes seems to be emerging:
- 1 Sunbreaker Titan with Hammer Strike
- 5 Voidwalkers
- Raid Gauntlets
- Tractor Cannon (makes enemies more vulnerable to Void damage)
- IKELOS Shotgun from the Escalation Protocol (Fully automatic, bonus damage after melee hits)

Just under 16 minutes for the entire Star Gate: Some previous record holders also managed a spectacular speed run through the new raid tract in a different composition. The Guardians completed the entire new raid passage in just 16 minutes and 28 seconds!
The team (power level 380 and above) began the run with a combination of 6 Nightstalker Hunters with the St4mp-F3R leg armor for increased sprint speed and jump height. For the boss fight, 5 players then switched to the Gunslinger focus and the helmet Celestial Nightframe. This is how they fought their way through the new raid passage in record time.
