In Destiny 2, the acclaimed Omen mission now offers more variety than expected. The feathers for the Hawk Quest are now hidden elsewhere.
On January 20, the Omen activity went live unexpectedly. The challenging activity from Season 12 offers random rolls for the Exotic Hawkmoon, a masterwork catalyst, and the Hawk Quest, which rewards you with a special ship.
Omen is designed so that guardians can farm it anew every week. When the Weekly Reset occurred on January 26, some players started to wonder. The excursion to the dam and the Taken-infested labyrinth has changed this week.
What’s new:
- The locations of the feathers for the Hawk Quest have changed. You still reliably get feathers from the two boss chests, but the hidden locations in the mission sequence are now different. Further down in the article, we provide you with an updated video.
- You must take slightly different paths and detours in the labyrinth (the phase with the 3 Taken bosses). With the other feather locations, the jump passage at the end also looks slightly different.
- The final boss fight is different: The Knight is now permanently on the battlefield, but immune. Defeat the blue-glowing adds and throw the spheres they leave behind at the boss to make him vulnerable.
While the Omen mission doesn’t offer a completely different experience, it surprises guardians once again. Whether a new variation will come next week or if the mission will remain as it is, remains to be seen. Fortunately, you will still have the activity in the new Season 13 starting on February 9.

All new feathers for the Hawk Quest in Destiny 2
If you were diligent last week, you can now complete the “Hawk” quest from Crow. As a reward for the 100 feathers needed, which you should find in the Omen mission, you can expect the ship “Radiant Hawk.”
- Additionally, after completing the quest, it should be possible to obtain a Hawkmoon with random rolls an unlimited number of times at the end of the Omen mission (via YouTube). Our MeinMMO reader Stoffel also confirmed this in the comments.

Don’t forget that you can only collect the feathers (regularly) once per week. However, you will receive additional feathers from the two chests after the boss fights once per character.
This is how you get “Radiant Hawk”: Once you’ve collected a total of 100 feathers, you must show them to the golden hawk in the Reservoir of the EDZ.
To reach it, land in the “Trostlands” area and jump into the second floor of the house with the “ABS Kastner” – that is, one floor higher than for the fireplace secret passage.
