In Destiny 2 Forsaken, Cayde-6 left behind a curious and amusing last will. This can be found in Cayde’s Testament.
Even before the Forsaken release, Bungie announced in trailers and interviews that Cayde-6, one of the coolest characters in Destiny 2, will die at the start of the Forsaken campaign. How this happens and how your Guardian reacts can currently be discovered by everyone in the new story.
Cayde leaves behind a testament: However, the story surrounding Cayde-6 is not over with his death. He has prepared a testament that will surely bring a smile to many Guardians.

What does Cayde’s Testament say?
Here’s how you get to Cayde’s Testament: You can find Cayde’s Testament in the game, by obtaining the Pikass. This is an exotic hand cannon that Cayde-6 carried. The lore tab of this weapon displays the testament along with his last will.
Cayde’s last will – What does the testament say:
“LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF CAYDE-6
To whom it may concern:
I, Cayde-6, being of sound (well, mostly) mind and body, hereby leave all my possessions to the person, the alien, the animal, or natural phenomenon that kills me.
The aforementioned possessions include, among other things:
- The Pikass
- All the hideouts I have established throughout the system
- The Colonel, my loyal friend
- My debts, which are attached here: THE ATTACHED FILE IS TOO LARGE TO DOWNLOAD”
Uldren legally claims the Pikass
What does his last will mean? Cayde-6 leaves all his possessions to whoever kills him. So Uldren Sov.
This means,
- Uldren legally owns the Pikass – which he probably doesn’t even know himself
- The hideouts belong to Uldren
- Even the Colonel belongs to Uldren. The Colonel is a chicken that gained some notoriety in the first year of Destiny 2. You can see it, for example, in this video, where it cheerfully assists Cayde in a kill:
By the way, Uldren Sov did not exercise his right to take the Colonel. The chicken now roams around the Tower, where Cayde-6 used to stand:

Additionally, Cayde made a joke in his testament. He states that he leaves his debts to his conqueror. However, the file containing all his debts is too large to be downloaded.
With Cayde’s Testament to the Pikass
By the way, the quest line that allows you to obtain the Pikass is also referred to as “Cayde’s Testament.” You will receive this quest early in the story from the weapons master Banshee.
