In Destiny 2, the “This Week at Bungie” has been released. We summarize the information.
Usually, the “This Week at Bungie” is released regularly on the night from Thursday to Friday. However, this time it was published about 24 hours earlier. The reason: In the USA, Thanksgiving is celebrated today, on November 23, and the developers are joining in the festivities.
The new community manager dmg04 writes that the lights in the Bungie studios will be off this Thursday and Friday. So unless the servers are on fire in the coming days, there will be no official information on Destiny 2 until next week.
Meanwhile, the Guardians have been wishing for more transparency and clear communication from Bungie for weeks. How will the endgame be specifically improved? When can we expect the new features? So far, the developers have remained silent. No word was said about the endgame overhaul in the previous livestreams about Curse of Osiris.
This Week at Bungie is Lean
Also in the current “This Week at Bungie” there is no new information on the endgame. Overall, this week’s letter to the community is as lean as rarely. Besides the information about Thanksgiving and a recap of the second livestream, 5 issues are listed that Bungie is currently addressing.
In the overview of known issues, they have recently been listed in the category “urgent issues”:
- Faction Rally Tokens: An issue was identified where faction rally tokens are removed when players create new characters in Destiny 2. The issue should be resolved before the group fights of Season 2.
- Leviathan Raid: Calus may become immune to damage in the final phase of the encounter.
- Black Screen when loading into the Tower: A black screen may be displayed when attempting to load into the Tower. This should resolve itself after a minute or you can bypass the problem by visiting a different destination and then flying back into the Tower.
- Glint Engram Ornaments: Ornaments from “Workhorse” and “Storm” in glint engrams may display as “Already added to the collection” before the player has actually obtained them. However, this does not prevent players from obtaining these items.
- Survivalist Hunter Perk: The survivalist perk on the legendary hunter leg armor does not grant the intended recovery stats.
Updates 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 are planned for the coming weeks, which are supposed to fix known issues.
