The beta of Destiny 2 contains secrets and Easter eggs. Especially the strike “The Twisted Pillar” on Nessus is being closely examined by Guardians for secrets.
If you rush through the story mission and the strike in the “Destiny 2” beta, then play a few PvP matches and delete the beta afterwards, you probably missed out on quite a bit. Since the launch of the beta, the Guardians have eagerly been uncovering the secrets mentioned by Game Director Luke Smith.
The story mission contains Easter eggs
In the story mission “Homecoming,” you return to the Tower, the social space from Destiny 1. It’s worth running towards the hangar bar. This is located near where the Dead Orbit once stood. Although everything is destroyed in Destiny 2, the jukebox is still playing.
It plays “Hope for the Future” by Paul McCartney – a Destiny single often mocked by the Guardians, and many would prefer to forget it. Let’s hope the Cabal will destroy the last copy of this song, some Guardians joke:
Now you must be strong: The ball that created many fun moments in the Tower in Destiny 1 was heartlessly destroyed by the Cabal. Its body was found on the stairs:

A Touch of “Glass Chamber” on Nessus
Currently, many Guardians are gathered on Nessus in the strike “The Twisted Pillar.” This strike seems to contain some secrets. All Guardians who have played it will have noticed its vastness, which users are now investigating together.
If you want to quickly move around Nessus, you can wait at the spawn point of the strike. According to some users, Fallen spawn with “Pikes” – these are their Sparrow vehicles. Shoot down the enemies and grab the vehicles:
Do not travel straight ahead, where the strike actually directs you, but to the right. There, a wide area opens up. You will often find various enemy races fighting against each other, strange doors, and symbols for “Lost Sectors.”
A symbol for a Lost Sector can be seen here: Lost Sectors are enemy dungeons where you defeat enemies, grab a key, and obtain loot.
Near this symbol is a symbol in the wall that undoubtedly represents the symbol of the Glass Chamber:
This symbol may represent the entrance to the Lost Sector. Some Guardians have already succeeded in glitching into this Lost Sector.

How to enter the area in the “correct way” is currently unknown to us. It may not even be possible in the beta. We will update this article if necessary.
Currently, there is speculation about the “Storm Minotaurs” that you may encounter in the Nessus world. All secrets may not yet be solved.
In short: If you play the beta again, explore Nessus! Maybe you’ll discover new secrets.
