Sleeper Simulant
What is the Sleeper Simulant? The Sleeper Simulant is already known from Destiny 1 and returns to Destiny 2 with DLC II. While it was still a fusion rifle for the Heavy Weapons slot in the first Destiny installment, it has become a linear fusion rifle that is carried in the Power Weapons slot in Destiny 2.
What makes the linear fusion rifle so special? The exotic perk Rose’s Thorns ensures that the fired laser from the Sleeper Simulant penetrates enemies and is deflected by hard surfaces. The beam then splits into 5 parts that can still deal significant damage.

How do you get the exotic catalyst and what can the masterpiece version do?

- Upgrade Effect: Charge time +75, “Accelerated Coils” perk – accelerates loading
What is this exotic weapon best for? Even though the Sleeper no longer has the punch of the first part and only carries two shots in the magazine, it is still excellent for boss fights and Yellow-Bars – i.e. enemies with yellow health bars – especially at medium to close range.
If the Solar Burn is active and you use additional damage buffs such as the Warlock Rift or the Titan’s Hammer Strike, a Sleeper can help melt any opponent in no time.
For PvP, the Sleeper is not really recommended.
