Since the launch of the Warmind DLC, Destiny 2 has been plagued by numerous annoying bugs. While Bungie is trying to address and fix the issues, the studio simply can’t get a handle on the flood of errors. It has now been confirmed that the exclusive Nightfall rewards are bugged.
The bugs keep coming: After the release of the Warmind expansion, Destiny 2 struggles with a variety of annoying bugs that spoil the gaming experience for many fans. While the developers are trying to regain control with corresponding updates, this has only been partially successful so far. Some bugs plagued players for weeks, as some persisted in the game despite hotfixes.
With the recent update 1.2.1, Bungie stated that most errors should now be fixed. However, just a few days after the update, the studio now has to admit another annoying bug. Many Guardians are angry.
Hand Cannon T.V.O. desperately sought
Exclusive Nightfall rewards are not available: The community noticed in several Nightfall strikes after the release of DLC II that the corresponding exclusive rewards such as the exotic Sparrow Inclination Igniter apparently did not want to drop. However, since fans are not particularly interested in this vehicle, there was no significant response. There was a lack of an uproar. There has also been no response from Bungie thus far.
During the current Nightfall Tree of Probabilities, the Guardian community also quickly noticed that the exclusive reward apparently does not drop. But this time, the discontent of the community was noticeably louder. Because currently, the coveted hand cannon T.V.O. should be available as a reward, which many Guardians are still tirelessly pursuing – but no one seems to have gotten it this week so far. And that is apparently not only due to the low drop chances.
After numerous inquiries and Reddit posts directed at Bungie, the studio has now spoken out and confirmed: it is indeed another bug.

Especially in light of the numerous preceding problems, one might have hoped that Bungie would react sooner here or at least communicate the issue earlier. Because the problem seems to have existed since the release of DLC II. Furthermore, it puts the developers in a less than favorable light when nearly a month after release, not all major bugs in the game have been fixed.

Currently, no exclusive Nightfall rewards drop in the Nightfall versions of the strikes from the base game and from DLC I “Curse of Osiris”. However, the strikes from the Warmind expansion are not affected by this bug. Bungie is currently conducting more detailed investigations into the problem.
When a solution to this problem can be expected is not yet known. So those still looking for the T.V.O. will have to practice some patience.
Community is angry: Many fans are disappointed and upset. Some have already made up to 40 attempts just this week to get the popular hand cannon. That all those efforts were in vain does not necessarily contribute to a better mood.
