The last update for Destiny 2 introduced a bug that allows Arcstriders to deal much more damage than they should. Bungie says: Enjoy it while it lasts!
What is it about? Currently, the Arc Week is taking place, focusing on the Arc subclasses in Destiny 2. Additionally, Arc Supers are active, increasing this type of damage from all sources.
Bungie has also made adjustments with the last update primarily to the Arc subclasses of the Guardians. The Arc abilities of Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters have been buffed across the board.
However, a bug has slipped in, causing one Hunter subclass to unintentionally deal too much damage.

Bug makes class too strong: Especially the Arcstrider Hunters have benefited from the last update: The combo strike “Way of the Warrior” can now be stacked up to three times. The buff increases melee damage in PvE by 60% per stack instead of 50% as before.
This damage buff can unintentionally transfer to the Hunter’s Super. If the Guardians also use the exotic chest piece Raiden Flux, they become unstoppable: The armor perk Synaptic Connections ensures that fast consecutive attacks with the Arc Staff increase damage effect and duration.
Raiden Flux is also usable in the new PvE mode Reckoning.
A description of the bug can be found in this video by xHOUNDISHx:
This causes Arcstriders to melt bosses in every activity in seconds.
This is what Bungie says: On the Destiny subreddit, Guardians have already pointed out the abnormal high damage. Community Manager Cozmo stated that this was not an intentional change and the developers will look into it. In the meantime, players should enjoy the “spicy” Arcstrider.
Moreover, the bug was also mentioned in the last “This Week at Bungie” blog. The developers are examining the bug, which is possible due to the combination of certain perks. Until the issue is fixed, it might be that Guardians witness how bosses in Gambit or other activities are stomped into the ground by Hunters and their Arc Staff.
Have the Arc Warlocks been nerfed?
