The online shooter Destiny 2 will be available tomorrow in a free trial version. The Destiny 2 demo starts. On PC, PS4, and Xbox One, Destiny 2 can then be tested for free as part of a free trial.
As Bungie announces in a trailer, a free trial for Destiny 2 starts tomorrow, November 28.
That means: You can download and play the shooter for free on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Currently, no further details are known about the scope and duration of the Destiny 2 demo. It is assumed that it will be a kind of “demo version” with very limited gameplay content – the accessible content could correspond to that of the beta.
So far, it is only known: If you decide to buy Destiny 2 after the demo, you can transfer your progress from the demo to the main game.

Contents of the Destiny 2 demo not yet known, but here’s what could be included
In the beta, there were:
- a story mission “Homecoming”
- a strike “Inverted Spire”
- and PvP on two maps: Countdown on the Midtown map and the Control mode on Endless Vale.
Players can expect something similar in the Destiny 2 demo.
- It could be that Bungie adds parts of the first area “European Dead Zone” as well.

Update 10:50 PM: New information is now available. The Destiny 2 demo is significantly larger than the beta.
- Players can PLAY ALL story content of the first two planets, namely the European Dead Zone and the content on the Saturn moon, Titan: This means all campaign missions here and also the Adventures, which are the side missions
- Players can enter the Farm, which is the social space in Destiny
- Demo guardians have access to the Crucible, here to the “Quickplay” playlists
- Additionally, players can join a clan and earn clan XP
- And you can team up with other players for cooperative activities
- Leveling works up to level 7.
For a demo, the Destiny 2 free trial is already above average in size.
