These are all Iron Banner weapons of Season 4 in Destiny 2. We present them in the list and provide their strengths, weaknesses, and God Roll perks.
First Iron Banner in Forsaken: On September 18, the first Iron Banner of Year 2 of Destiny 2 began. Many Guardians jumped right into this PvP event to inspect the innovations, such as power level advantages and the new reward system,.
New Iron Banner Weapons: The Iron Banner innovations also include six fresh weapons. You will receive them by
- completing Iron Banner matches. With some luck, you will receive an Iron Banner weapon as a completion reward
- mastering the 7 weekly bounties. Each grants you a random Iron Banner reward
- collecting enough Iron Banner tokens to receive an Iron Engram
- completing the weekly bounties for Powerful Loot. This way, you can buy the scout rifle and the grenade launcher directly from Lord Saladin with fixed perks. They cost 10 Legendary Shards and 10 Iron Banner tokens each.
All six Iron Banner weapons may be included in sources of random Iron Banner loot.
A user named Mercules904 has now spoken up on reddit. He is regarded as a weapon expert in the community, having previously revealed interesting stats of the weapons and shared his opinions on the best perks. He has now also done this with the new Iron Banner weapons. We present his findings – where he emphasizes that the recommended perks are not universally applicable.
Note: All Time-to-Kill statistics refer to Guardians with 192 health points (that corresponds to 6 resilience). The TTK is the time required, under optimal conditions, to eliminate an opposing Guardian with full health.
Adlerkrallen – Scout Rifle from the Iron Banner
This is Adlerkrallen: Adlerkrallen is a scout rifle for the kinetic slot. It belongs to the archetype with high impact. Here are the stats:
The TTK is 0.8 seconds, requiring three headshots. With 6 body shots, Adlerkrallen kills in 2 seconds.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
- The optimal TTK is excellent, the range is above average compared to other scout rifles
- The stability is below average, as is the reload speed, handling, and magazine size. Aim assist is very low.
Recommended Perks:
- Polygonal Rifling – increased stability
- High-Caliber Rounds – shots stagger opponents, slightly increased range
- outlaw – precision kills reduce reload time
- Explosive Payload (projectiles create an explosion on impact) or Rampage (kills with the weapon briefly increase damage, stackable 3x)
Is Adlerkrallen worth it? Even though the stats do not make a good impression overall, Adlerkrallen is one of the best scout rifles with high impact. It is one of the few weapons of this archetype that can shoot with explosive payload. While this is not as strong as it once was, it is still good at dealing damage to multiple opponents simultaneously.
Adlerkrallen is a good option in both PvE and PvP with these perks.
The scout rifle with fixed perks from Lord Saladin has:
- Moving Target
- Outlaw
- Enhanced Rounds / Extended Mag
- Corkscrew Rifling / Polygonal Rifling
On the next pages, we will introduce the other Iron Banner weapons. Page 2 continues with a pulse rifle.
