In Destiny 2, the new Season 10 starts on March 10. We have summarized for you which seasonal contents will disappear in a week and what you should definitely still do before the Season of Dawn ends.
Why are the contents disappearing? Currently, Destiny 2 relies on a so-called season model. Every three months, a new thematic season is released, bringing new activities, content, and fresh loot.
Since December 2019, Season 9, the Season of Dawn, has been running, but it will end on March 9. After that, the Season of Worthy will start on March 10.
Among other things, finally the return of the Trials of Osiris will be there. What we currently know about Season 10, you can read here:
The Season of Dawn runs for one more week
These seasonal contents will disappear: Bungie has released a list of all the content that Guardians will have to say “good bye” to in the next season. The list includes over 20 items, including quests, activities, and weapons.
At the end of Season 9, the following will disappear:
- The Season Pass with its rewards and extras
- The seasonal title “Savior” and the associated seal
- Incomplete items from the Season of Dawn collection plaque will become invisible
- Emblems and shaders from the quests of Shaxx, Zavala, and the Wanderer
- Lore entries “Constellations” (from the Sundial)
- The seasonal artifact “Lantern of Osiris”
- All level benefits from the seasonal artifact
- Polarized Fractaline
- Obelisk bounties
- Time-lost weapon bounties
- Time-lost Friendship (consumable)
- Fractaline Creator (consumable)
- Light-fused Fractaline (consumable)
- The Sundial activity
- The Sundial pillar (Osiris location)
- The four planetary obelisks
- The Tower obelisk
- Quests from Osiris
- Quests from Saint-14 (The Bastion quest remains available)
- Bounties from Saint-14
- The quest for the exotic pistol “Devil’s Ruin”
- Mods from the seasonal artifact
- Triumphs from the Season of Dawn
What you should do: If you haven’t engaged closely or intensely with the current season so far, you will find it difficult to catch up in the remaining week. We have summarized some activities and tasks that are particularly worthwhile, interesting, or quick to master:
- Complete the Sundial – The fight against the final boss Inotam was unexpectedly tough and was well received by the Guardians
- If you are on the hunt for the current ritual weapons, keep in mind: The required ranks in PvP, Strikes, and Gambit will be reset with the next season. If you have already invested time in the quests, you should not let your progress go to waste.
- The rescue of Saint-14 is one of the coolest tasks in the recent Destiny history. You still have a week to embark on the wonderfully staged time travel.
- The Exo quest for “Devil’s Ruin” is not long, but very funny. Therefore, you should have more than enough time to earn yourself an interesting weapon and listen to Lord Shaxx’s singing.
Lastly, you should use the remaining time to stock up your weapon arsenal. Even though the announced “best before date” for weapons is currently causing a stir, you won’t have the opportunity to comfortably acquire so-called God-Rolls for much longer.
These weapons are worth a look:
- Saint-14’s shotgun
- This hand cannon is currently one of the best in PvE
- If you want to feel like John Wick, you can’t pass up this pistol
- You can find more strong and farmable seasonal weapons here
Have you completed all quests, tasks, and triumphs from the Season of Dawn? Have you earned all weapons and items, or is there still a lot on your to-do list?
