Age Old Bond – Auto rifle from the raid
This is Age Old Bond: This auto rifle deals energy damage (Void damage). It belongs to the “High Impact Frame” archetype with high damage and slow rate of fire. These are the stats:
- Time-to-Kill: 0.83s (6 crit), 1.50s (10 body)
- Rate of Fire: 360
- Impact: 33 (34 crit, 21 body)
- Range: 82
- Stability: 18
- Reload Speed: 34
- Handling: 38
- Aim Assist: 61
- Magazine Size: 35

Strengths and weaknesses:
- The range of Age Old Bond is very good.
- However, it severely lacks stability. Reload speed, handling, and aim assist could be higher.
The Masterwork perks:
- Extended Barrel: Increases range, reduces handling speed, moderately controls recoil
- Light Mag: Increases reload speed, slightly increases range
- All Good Things Come in Threes: Scoring rapid precision hits returns two rounds to the magazine
- Rampage: Kills with this weapon temporarily increase damage. Stackable 3x
Other strong random perks:
- Bump Shots – Increases stability, slightly increases range. Shots bounce off hard surfaces
- Zen Moment – Causing damage with the weapon increases stability
- Kill Clip: Reloading after a kill causes increased damage
Is Age Old Bond worth it? Like all auto rifles of this archetype, Age Old Bond suffers from low stability and poor aim assist. Therefore, you must compensate for the stability with appropriate perks like Zen Moment.
When Kill Clip is active, the optimal TTK of Age Old Bond in PvP is 0.67 seconds, which is very good. However, you must be able to control the low stability. The weapon is worth it simply for the reason that it finally provides an auto rifle with high impact that deals energy damage.
