Dungeon “Prophecy”
Prophecy (eng. Prophecy) is a Dungeon in Destiny 2 that has been available for all Guardians since June 9, 2020, for free since the Season of Arrivals. Expect neon colors, lots of sand, and an environment reminiscent of the movie “Tron”.
How to start the Dungeon: The exact location of the Dungeon is unknown. However, since the Vagabond is involved, you can start the Dungeon directly through the Navigator at the Tower and take a shortcut via the access on his jump ship.
This Exotic awaits you in the Dungeon: The Prophecy Dungeon doesn’t contain any specific exotic weapon. However, players can obtain unique weapons and armor there.
What is the Dungeon about? The pyramid ships are approaching, and you must go where the answers are. Enter the realm of the IX (Nine) – a dimension where the rules of your world no longer apply. This world is not bound by causality. Face hordes of simulated possessed beings and manipulate reality to solve complex puzzles. What was once above is now below. And what was once light is darkness.
There are 5 areas to master:
- First, enter “Heaven and Hell” and find the right side.
- In the Wasteland, a vast plain, you will find buried memories and must kill possessed enemies.
- The Hexahedron is not for the faint of heart, as everything is turned upside down there.
- Secure yourself on beams over the dead sea.
- Pursue the echoes of Kell and prove yourself worthy so that the Nine grant you an audience and answers to the question of the intent and nature of darkness.

Dungeon “Grasp of Avarice”
Grasp of Avarice (Grasp of Avarice) is a Dungeon released exclusively in Destiny 2 with the 30-Year Bungie package. The Dungeon offers you many ways to bite the dust.
How to start the Dungeon: Owners of the “30-Year Bungie” DLC can start the Dungeon through the Navigator by clicking on Xur’s Eternity.
This Exotic awaits you in the Dungeon: Specifically tied to this “Birthday Dungeon” is the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn, the most famous weapon in Destiny 2, which has returned to the game. It can be earned through the quest “All Wolves Fly High”.
The exotic rocket launcher provides the following benefits:
- Pack Rounds: Fired rounds split into seeking cluster projectiles upon detonation.
- Wolf Hunters: Handling and reload speed improve when near allies. When you fire the weapon, allies with non-exotic rocket launchers also receive pack rounds.
- Catalyst perk “More Wolves”: Increases magazine size. Kills with pack rounds create a faster, stronger rocket.
In this Dungeon, players can also earn the “Artful Armor” if they play it on the “Grandmaster” difficulty.
What is the Dungeon about? A team of Guardians has stumbled upon the infamous Loot Cave from Destiny 1, located in the Skywatch of the Cosmodrome. Lured by the loot and wealth, the Guardians dig ever deeper into the mountain for immeasurable treasures and become increasingly tainted by greed.
Throughout the Dungeon, there are twelve messages in bottles that tell the story of Wilhelm-7. They describe the journey of the unfortunate fireteam into the loot cave and their subsequent descent into obsession, paranoia, and madness, which ultimately led to their demise.
There are 6 areas to master:
- First, open the entrance to the Loot Cave, craving exotic engrams.
- Once in the Siloroom, you must open gates to organize a Scorch weapon.
- Then you will encounter “Phry’zhia, the Insatiable,” for she has you in her sight.
- After defeating the Ogre Lady, you will face a Sparrow race under explosive pressure.
- The final obstacle is a Fallen Barrier. Nothing that ticking bombs can’t solve.
- The final boss of the Dungeon is “Captain Avorakk – the Greedy.” He leads a gang of rogue Eliksni obsessed with collecting wealth from across the solar system. Defeat him and claim what he guards.
