Destiny 2: All new content of the Crimson Engrams – with Exotics

In Destiny 2 we show you all the new content of the Crimson Engrams. You fight for these items during the Crimson Week.

In the week around Valentine’s Day, you can grab your loved ones and go hunt for new items in Destiny 2. The Crimson Week has begun – an event where the Tower is festively decorated in red and Lord Shaxx awaits you with a 2v2 Crucible playlist. It runs from February 13th to February 20th.

The majority of new Crimson items are found in the Crimson Engrams. You cannot buy these engrams directly from the Eververse – they can only be earned.

You receive Crimson Engrams:

• as a gift from Tess Everis right at the start of Crimson Week
• as a post-match reward in the 2v2 Crimson games
• as a reward during XP leveling, along with a Glimmer Engram.

  

What’s in the Crimson Engrams?

The new engrams only contain cosmetic items. Guardians are painfully missing weapons or armor pieces. Overall, there are 5 new Exotics in the form of ornaments, a Sparrow, and an emote.

A total of 8 shaders are included in the Crimson Engrams, but only 2 of them are new: Here you can see the other shaders and the teleport effects:

Important: The rewards from the Crimson Engrams are obtained with a “Knock-Out List” mechanic. This means that the engrams only start dropping duplicates once you own all the new gear. However, there is an in-game note stating that it is only “almost certain” that you will always receive a new reward until you have them all.

With Glimmer Dust, you can directly buy these Crimson items in the Eververse:
