What is the story? Zavala, the leader of the Vanguard, contacted Caiatl, the Kabal princess. He informed her about the schemes of the Hive. Savathûn, the Witch Queen, leads troops to various targets to conquer them. Zavala requests support to eliminate this new threat once and for all.
When does Season 16 end? Season 16 started together with Witch Queen on February 22, 2022, and ends exactly on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
New Season Exo – Grand Overture
What kind of Exo is there? In the new Season Pass, there is a new Exo, which you can redeem immediately at the first level upon purchase. It is the exotic MG “Grand Overture”.
This heavy MG fires slowly small Arc rockets that hit your enemies hard. If you score hits with your MG, rounds are stored. You can then unleash these collected rounds with a button press and rain them down on your opponents at once.
Is there a catalyst? Yes, and you receive it after you collect your MG. You need to visit the weapon master “Banshee-44” in the Tower. Complete the associated quest, fill the catalyst through kills, and benefit from its bonus.

New Activity – PsiOps Battlegrounds

Power Caps – All Light Levels

- Base: 1350 (previously 1100)
- Soft Cap: 1500 (previously 1270)
- Power Cap: 1550 (previously 1320)
- Hard Cap: 1560 (previously 1330)
You will need to invest a significant amount of time to reach the hard cap of 1560.
New Artifact – Synaptic Spear
How do I get the artifact? You receive the Synaptic Spear after completing the first mission for Witch Queen. After completing the mission “The Arrival,” you will receive the seasonal artifact from Ikora and can start leveling it up.
