Destiny 2 receives new exotics with the Warmind DLC. Here we present an overview of all the exotic weapons of the second expansion that are known so far.
For a large part of the guardians, the exotic weapons of the Destiny series embody one of the most important aspects of the game. With the launch of Destiny 2, there were already 19 examples. With the first DLC “Curse of Osiris”, five more exotic weapons were added on December 5, 2017.
The 2nd DLC “Warmind” also brings new exotic weapons to the game. Again, there are five weapons that expand your arsenal. Among them are also two old acquaintances from Destiny 1: the SUROS Regime and the Sleeper Simulant.
These are the new exotic weapons from Warmind
In addition to the two returnees from the first part, there are also three new weapons – including the first exotic sword from Destiny 2.
The Huckleberry – Submachine Gun
What is the Huckleberry? The Huckleberry is a new exotic SMG in eye-catching Tex Mechanica style. It is equipped in the kinetic slot. In appearance, it resembles other TM products such as the exotic Prospector grenade launcher.

What can this submachine gun do? The exotic perk “Riding the Bull” allows for increased fire rate when the trigger is held. However, this comes with stronger recoil.
It also has the following perks:
- Fluted Barrel: Weapon readiness speed and stability are increased.
- Ricochet Rounds: Rounds ricochet off hard surfaces, increased range and stability.
- Rampage: Kills with this weapon temporarily increase damage, up to three times stackable.
- Stubby Stock: Significantly increases weapon readiness speed.
Suros Regime – Auto Rifle
What is the SUROS Regime? The SUROS Regime is an exotic auto rifle and is equipped in the kinetic slot. Many fans of the Destiny series already know it from the first part. With DLC 2, it now enters Destiny 2.

What can the weapon do? Unlike in Destiny 1, the SUROS in the current Destiny installment belongs to the fast-firing auto rifles with a fire rate of 600. Thus, it now belongs to a different archetype than in the predecessor.

However, the SUROS has inherited its characteristic perks from the predecessor – albeit under new names.
The intrinsic perk of the weapon is called SUROS Legacy. As in Destiny 1, the second half of the magazine will cause bonus damage and can return health on kills.
It also has the following perks:
- Hammer-Forged Rifling: Increases range.
- Tactical Mag: Slightly increases stability and magazine size, increased reload speed.
- Spinning Up: While the trigger is held, the rate of fire increases.
- Dual-Tempo Receiver: Using the scope slows the rate of fire but increases damage.
- Hand-Laid Stock: Increases stability.
Polaris Lance – Scout Rifle
What is the Polaris Lance? The Polaris Lance is a slowly firing exotic scout rifle with high damage. This weapon is carried in the energy slot and deals solar damage.

Fans quickly became aware of this new weapon. Ana Bray prominently showcases the Polaris Lance in almost every official image for the Warmind expansion.
What can the weapon do? The exotic perk of the weapon is called Perfect Fifth and feeds precision hits into the magazine. After four precision hits, a delayed solar explosive round is loaded for the next shot.
It also has the following perks:
- Smallbore: Increased range and stability.
- Tactical Mag: Slightly increases stability and magazine size, increased reload speed.
- Zen Moment: Damage caused with this weapon increases its stability.
- Customized Stock: Increased stability and moderately controlled recoil, but weapon readiness speed is slightly reduced.

Sleeper Simulant – Linear Fusion Rifle
What is the Sleeper Simulant? The Sleeper Simulant is already known from Destiny 1 and is making its return to Destiny 2 with DLC II. While it was a fusion rifle for the heavy weapon slot in the original, it has become a linear fusion rifle in Destiny 2, carried in the power weapon slot.

What can the linear fusion rifle do? The exotic perk Spindle ensures that the fired laser from the Sleeper Simulant penetrates enemies and is deflected off hard surfaces.
It also has the following perks:
- Polygonal Rifling: Reduces recoil and increases stability.
- Extended Magazine: Significantly faster reload speed, and slightly increased stability.
- Mobile Target: Increased movement speed and target acquisition while moving and using the scope.
- Composite Stock: Slightly increased stability and weapon readiness speed.
Worldline Zero – Sword
What is Worldline Zero? Your weapon arsenal is expanded with the Warmind DLC by the first exotic sword in Destiny 2. Worldline Zero also impresses with its own chic design.

What can the exotic sword do? The special perk of the sword is called Tesseract, which allows you to perform a Tesseract move at the press of a button after a short sprint. In doing so, you teleport to your opponent to deliver a devastating blow.
It also has the following perks:
-
Tempered Blade: Increased sword damage and ammunition.
- Infinite Sword Parry: Defending with the sword is more efficient.
- Assassin’s Blade: Sword kills provide a movement boost and damage bonus.
- Unyielding Blade: Sword kills that consume ammunition produce sword ammo.
How do you obtain Worldline Zero? The new sword is tied to a collection quest on Mars.
