The Dawning winter event in Destiny 2 has started. The Tower and the Farm are festively decorated, including snowball fights. The Eververse also has new items available. We give you an overview!
The new Eververse items include Ghosts, Ships, Sparrows, and a new emote with which you can present gifts. You can buy these items directly in the Eververse for Glimmer, if they are available, or find them in the so-called Dawning Engrams – a special form of Glimmer Engrams.
To participate in the Dawning event, you must meet the following requirements:
You must have completed the main campaign and
reached Level 20.
Earn Dawning Rewards by Playing
You have various options to earn Dawning rewards via milestones:
Welcome to the Dawning – Upon first logging in with each character for the Dawning, players are greeted with the “Welcome to the Dawning” introductory milestone. This milestone can be completed only once per character during the entire “The Dawning” live event. Access to the Tower is required for completion.
Sharing Holiday Joy with Others – When the “Welcome to the Dawning” milestone is completed with each character, players are directed to the “Sharing Holiday Joy with Others” milestone. This milestone can be completed once per week and character to receive rewards.
Today’s Gift – During the Dawning, players can complete the “Today’s Gift” milestone every day. For this milestone, players must collect resources to craft gifts for NPCs in the solar system. This milestone can be completed once daily per character. Access to the Tower is required for completion.
Otherwise, you can purchase the Dawning Engrams for Silver. Additionally, all exotic items are said to be available for Glimmer over the course of the three event weeks.

New Armor with “The Dawning”
You can also complete a new armor set for each class. Bungie has promised that all armor pieces will be available for sale in the next weeks, ensuring they can be guaranteed completed.
New Shaders with “The Dawning”
Four new shaders have made their way to Destiny 2. Unfortunately, like the rest of the items, they are exclusive to the Dawning event. Since they can be consumed, you need to stock up if you like them or use them sparingly.
New Ghosts with “The Dawning”
You can also find new ghosts with a winter theme in the Dawning Engrams:
The last ghost shell, the Winter Lotus shell, is exotic.
