Insidious – Pulse Rifle
This is what the weapon can do: “Insidious” belongs to the rare pulse rifles with a hard-hitting, aggressive four-round burst. The weapon visually resembles the popular black-red weapon “Forge” from the Black Armory.
Specific origin perk: The new raid weapons feature the unique origin perk “Soul Drinker.” This means that all weapons from the raid “Oath of the Student” provide health based on the number of hits before reloading.
These are currently popular perks on the weapon: For the pulse rifle, the new perk “Lock and Switch” is particularly strong. It causes damage dealt within a short time with other weapons to also increase the damage bonus of this weapon. This way, the pulse rifle can be perfectly combined with any weapon in your loadout.
Otherwise, the perks Quickdraw and Steady Hands are also potent options for the pulse rifle.
Is there a good alternative? Currently, the legendary pulse rifle “Holy Origin” from the raid “Garden of Salvation” would be a viable alternative.
In which encounter do you get the weapon? The pulse rifle Insidious drops in the second encounter (The Caretaker) and against the final boss in the “Oath of the Student” raid.
