Commemoration – Machine Gun
This is what the weapon can do: The legendary MG “Commemoration” belongs to the 450 representatives of its kind. It shoots relatively slowly but has high damage, is precise and possesses good values in stability and range. The weapon deals Void damage and can be seen as the successor to the popular Hammerhead.
- In PvE, you can’t find a better MG right now. With the right perks, you can get to 150 rounds, it hardly shifts, and shreds through everything that isn’t a raid boss.
- In PvP, you can also deal lethal damage at long ranges with “Commemoration.” The TTK is an excellent 0.53 seconds.
This is what the curated roll looks like:
- Barrel Shroud: +15 Range, -10 Stability, -5 Handling
- Tactical Mag: +10 Reload Speed, +5 Stability, +10 Magazine Size
- Vorpal Weapon: Rapid kills improve reload speed.
- Under Pressure: Improves stability and precision when the magazine is empty.

Other strong perks include:
- Reconstruction: The weapon reloads automatically over time – up to double its capacity (Slot 1)
- Zen Moment: Damage dealt increases stability (Slot 1)
- Unyielding: Rapid kills heal the user (Slot 2)
- Rage: Each kill increases damage – up to 3x stackable (Slot 2)
- Dragonfly: Precision kills create an elemental explosion.
Is there a good alternative? The 450 MG has no direct legendary competition. The other new MG from Beyond Light is “Thermal Erosion,” which shoots twice as fast but deals noticeably less damage. If you’re missing your “Hammerhead,” you can’t go wrong with “Commemoration.”
As a power weapon, the MG must compete with the exotics Xenophage and Deathbringer .
