This week, fans and players were delighted with a lot of new content in Destiny 2. With the launch of Act 2 of Echos, several new features have been introduced into the game. Among other things, new story missions are expected.
The appropriate trailer focuses on the new battlefields and a new weapon:
In Destiny 2, there was a server downtime yesterday, on July 16, 2024, for patch 8.0.0.7. Afterward, Act 2 of Echos was also launched. We have summarized all information about the server downtime, including the patch notes in an article for you.
What does the trailer show? The trailer does not show much of the new story missions that are expected in Act 2. However, you can get a glimpse of new battlefields and new weapons.
In total, there are supposed to be three new battlefields, as the trailer announces. The first images show, for example, underground ruins, while a voice encourages you to venture deeper into the heart of Nessus.
These ruins are partly overgrown by the wilderness and provide many opportunities to hide and seek safety in combat. In other places, quite open areas can be seen, where battles might await you.
Besides the first impression of the new areas, the trailer also introduces new weapons.
- Anomalous Action – a solar rocket pistol
- Sands of Time – an arc pulse rifle
In the trailer, you can also get a first look at how the gameplay of the weapons looks like. In addition, in Act 2 of Echos, you can expect new artifact perks, new activities, and new rewards.
