In Destiny 2, we will soon encounter a Fallen Baroness, who will not only become the new Archon in the DLC but has been bothering us for years.
This is the new Archon: With the major Autumn expansion Beyond Light, Destiny 2 leads us to the icy moon Europa. Here, a Fallen Baroness has settled, who is the new main antagonist of the DLC: Eramis, Kell of Darkness.
The lady made her first appearance in the official reveal trailer (via YouTube). What many do not know is that Eramis has been giving players headaches for years – for example, she was the puppet master behind one of the coolest missions ever.
In this article, we take a look at the dark machinations of our great adversary, through which the first new element in 6 years will come to the Destiny universe in autumn:
Breach Artist, Infiltration Expert, and Ice Queen
This role has Eramis played so far: Eramis made a name for herself among the Fallen in the past by stealing ships as a space pirate. In English, her nickname is also “The Shipstealer”. She originally belonged to the House of Devils – veterans will remember another member of this faction: Sepiks Prime.
She is involved in these significant events:
- Eramis was captured and imprisoned in the notorious “Prison of Elders” – where scoundrel Skolas also resides
- During the Forsaken story, the Baroness managed to break out of the high-security facility – you may remember, during this breakout, fan favorite Cayde-6 died
- From then on, Eramis wanted to take revenge on the world – she set out on the search for SIVA
- We saw how dangerous the Fallen can become thanks to SIVA in the “Wrath of the Machine” raid
- She was behind the infiltration of the old tower – we know this infiltration as the brilliant mission “Hour Zero”
- Together with Mithrax we prevent Eramis from seizing SIVA and thereby acquire the Exotic Perfected Outbreak
After her misdeeds and the defeat in Hour Zero, the villain fled and hid in the depths of space – she has now been tracked down in Europa.

Here she has quietly experimented and created a new element: Stasis. She succeeded in controlling the cold with the help of the Darkness. We will be able to taste this dark fruit ourselves starting September 22.
It will be exciting to see in what form the Ice Queen will confront us. Will she be the final boss of the story or will she make an appearance as a raid boss?
