A player has unlocked all the achievements in Destiny 2. A unique accomplishment that cost him a lot of time.
How long did it take him? The player Dawncraftian has earned all the titles available in Destiny 2 and took 1672 hours to do so. That equates to 69.6 days spent in the game.
He didn’t invest the time all at once, but played daily between five and six hours. Since the introduction of titles with Forsaken, he has continuously worked towards a new title:
I just looked at what I had to do and got it done.
Dawncraftian to Eurogamer.
What are titles for? Titles are cosmetic text that appears next to the player’s name in Destiny 2. They indicate that someone has achieved something special and add a bit of flair to the game. Some titles are particularly prestigious because they are very rare or difficult to obtain:
- “Chronist”, for which you need to complete several books
- “Fluchbrecher” for the toughest Guardians
- “Unruhestifter” that requires many hours in Gambit
Especially the last title Unruhestifter (eng. “Reckoner”) gave him trouble, as he cannot stand Gambit.
All Titles – a personal achievement
Is he the first? Dawncraftian shared his achievement on reddit. There, many players congratulated him and even called him crazy for taking on such a task.
However, there are also players who claim that others have already done it before him. These guardians allegedly acquired certain titles such as “Unbroken,” similarly to the player who unlocked all triumphs.
Dawncraftian himself is also unsure if he is the first. However, he seems to take it in stride:
I don’t know… there were one or two commenters under the post who claimed they had done it too. But I personally haven’t seen anyone.
Dawncraftian to Eurogamer.
Why did he even do it? His motivation was that he was going through a tough time. He needed something to distract himself and then got hooked on the title hunt. It helped him get through the time.
Destiny 2 “completed” – what’s next?
These are now Dawncraftian’s goals: After he has already earned all the titles, he now wants to play through the current season content and grind Vex Offensives. After that, he will tackle “whatever triumphs Bungie throws at him.”
If you want to replicate the title hunter’s achievement, you’ll need to be quick:
