What kinds of bugs are these? For about two weeks, players have been reporting strange bugs in Destiny 2. Guardians are being thrown out of activities more often than usual, and progress in quests, bounties, or rewards is not being credited.
Things are also not going smoothly in PvP right now. Currently, two bugs are particularly annoying players:
- In competitive mode, Guardians sometimes cannot spawn into the match. They get stuck in Spectator Mode and can only watch their teammates play.
- Weapons or even entire Guardians become invisible and can only be seen as vague outlines. This can happen in all modes and can even affect your own Guardian.

How are players coping? A solution to prevent these annoying bugs has not yet been found. However, there are some tips that you can try if you are affected by these issues:
- Go to your menu to the new quests tab and wait for all quests on one page to load. For many players, this is enough, and character models reload so they can normally enter the PvP match.
- Others report that they have to claim the last bounty they completed.
- Another option is to take an item from the vault using the Destiny 2 app or another inventory app.
- A few players have reported that they had to delete a shader for everything to work again.
