As the Clever Dragon and the Grasp of Malok have been nerfed, and their fire rate is now slower, another archetype becomes interesting. The Malok archetype (Impact 4) remains competitive, but it shoots no faster than the Iron Sledge archetype – the one with impact 7. This was feared in Year 2.
This means that this Iron Sledge archetype is now preferred over the extremely fast-firing pulse rifles. And here we have interesting weapons, such as B-29 Guest Gift. It comes with a high aim assist of 70 and a strong reload speed. Range and magazine size could be better:
You can obtain the Guest Gift via the Crucible and can purchase it directly from the Crucible Quartermaster. The TtK is 0.87s, requiring you to fire three volleys with 8 crits.
Recommended perks are Perfect Balance, Hand-Laid Stock, Balance Adjustment, and Targeting Adjuster.
