Update 2.5.0.2 shook up the meta in the Crucible of Destiny. These 11 legendary primary weapons are now worth a try.
Since February 14, the balance patch 2.5.0.2 has been live on PS4 and Xbox One. This brought some buffs and nerfs to weapon classes and individual weapons. The once-dominant shotguns have been weakened, as well as the outstanding primary weapons Clever Dragon and Grasp of Malok.
This raises the question for Guardians worldwide: Which weapons should I now fill my slots with?
The weapon expert Mercules904 provides an answer to this question. He lists legendary primary weapons that are recommended after 2.5.0.2, as they particularly benefit from the changes. Since the biggest changes and power shifts occurred with the pulse rifles and automatic rifles, this list contains only these weapon types.
Note: Only the in-air accuracy of scout rifles was increased, while hand cannons received an increase in initial accuracy and a decrease in range. Hand cannons are still strong, especially those with the Hawkmoon archetype, meaning: The hand cannons that were top-tier before the update are still top-tier.
But which pulse rifles and automatic rifles are now pushing to the forefront?

Let’s start with the powerful pulse rifle Lyudmila-D. It has the lowest fire rate archetype of 59 – this was increased by 5.3% with the patch. Additionally, the weapon possesses high range and magazine size, while the stability, aim assist, and reload speed are low:
The Lyudmila-D is a arms master weapon that you can occasionally order from him. It now boasts an excellent time-to-kill of 0.73s (assuming the opponent has 200 health points) – however, in practice, it will be challenging to achieve this TtK. The Lyudmila is quite unstable, so not every projectile will hit the enemy’s head.
Recommended perks are Headseeker, Perfect Balance, and Hand-Laid Stock to boost stability. Nevertheless, handling the recoil remains a challenge.
