GTA Online will soon receive the major “Bottom Dollar Bounties” update. Also, a well-known character is returning for this, but not the one everyone hoped for.
What’s in the new update? The new update for GTA Online is called “Bottom Dollar Bounties” and focuses on new bounty missions. As bounty hunters, you need to help Maude Eccles, whom you may remember from GTA 5, to earn money.
For this, you get to assist Maude’s daughter Jenette in bringing down all kinds of criminals and collecting bounties.
The update includes not just the new bounty missions but also new vehicles for the deployment of “LSPD Officer” Vincent Effenburger. The update is set to be released on June 25 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Fans are waiting for another character
Who are the fans waiting for? Since the release of GTA Online, fans have been waiting for the return of the main character Michael from GTA 5. Even after 10 years since its release, he has not shown up in GTA Online.
While Trevor and Franklin have already made their appearances in GTA Online, there is still no trace of Michael. Fans suspect that Rockstar is saving the character for the last major update for GTA Online.
On X.com, user @smxo00 writes: “Michael will, in his own words, be ‘The Big One’ at the end of the online mode of GTA 5.”
Also, @JakeW786 believes that on X.com: “Remember my words: Michael will return in the last update of GTA Online.”
What does the future of GTA Online look like? Although some players may have thought that this was the last update for GTA Online, that’s not the case. Rockstar Games themselves announced in their newswire blog (via rockstargames.com) that new drift and drag races, a variety of new vehicles, and more new content will be released in the summer and beyond.
However, how GTA Online will proceed once GTA 6 is released is still completely unclear. Whether GTA Online will continue to exist, possibly even receive further updates, or whether a new GTA Online will be launched with GTA 6 and the development of the old GTA Online will be stopped, Rockstar Games has not disclosed yet.
GTA Online also thrives on the many roleplay servers that have seen great popularity due to streamers and content creators on Twitch. However, one streamer seemed to take it to the extreme: Streamer sends viewers away who are too timid for her daring roleplay in GTA 5
