Bugs in FIFA 20 occur repeatedly. A specific bug is particularly annoying some players right now.
This is the bug: Currently, there is a problem in FIFA 20 where player models seemingly are not properly registered. This leads to “ghost players,” through which the ball simply flies.
A player experienced this situation, resulting in him conceding frustrating goals. And that was just the proverbial cherry on top.
Impossible goals cause frustration
This is what the player experienced: On Twitter, user Mavric shared his plight. In a video, the frustrated player showed two situations where bugs significantly ruined his game.
The first one is still relatively acceptable in comparison. In a strange dribbling, the opponent-controlled Mbappé keeps the ball, although he completely loses control of it in between. While dancing around the defenders, a strange graphical glitch occurs, making it look as if Mbappé is breaking his leg.
Of course, he doesn’t lose the ball. In the end, there is a shot on goal that rebounds off the post – but of course, it directly hits the back of the goalkeeper, from where it ends up in the net. So far, so terrible.
However, the player refers to the second goal as the “cream of the crop”: The ball flies during his opponent’s shot towards the offside Ben Yedder. A whistle occurs – for some reason – not, even though Ben Yedder is in the goalkeeper’s line of sight. In real life, this situation would have been blown dead.
The goal becomes even more beautiful in retrospect. Because: The ball not only flies past Ben Yedder but goes straight through him. The ghost player was obviously not registered by the game in any way – and thus a goal occurs that should never have happened. An error that was ultimately too much: “Enough is enough,” the player stated in his post.
