In Defiance , the Thanksgiving holiday is celebrated with a quirky event.
Defiance also resembles the pioneer days in some ways. Only instead of encountering natives, you meet mutants, and the world is not “untouched,” but rather “too much touched by civilization.” Regardless – turkeys are delicious, just like they were back then. It is quite fitting that they appear more frequently in Defiance during Thanksgiving time. Turkeys are said to be just as resilient as they are tasty!
The Free2Play shooter on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 celebrates its own “Thanksgiving” until November 30. During this time, there is a special pack available where you can obtain an injector that shoots turkeys.
Additionally, there are new missions to complete and the title “Borderland Fighter” to earn. For some ridiculous reason, mutants also celebrate Thanksgiving… but they interpret it a bit more hostile.
