More story, more background information, more cutscenes, etc.
The German community members of Defiance have apparently not yet managed to translate one of the latest news of the MMOTPS. The information about the next DLC is currently only available on the English version of the game’s website. But who cares! The current DLC “The 7th Legion” has barely been released, and the creators are already rushing in with the next blockbuster. The next DLC will be named: Gunslinger Trials. What is loosely translated might mean “Gunslinger Trials”.
The DLC number 4 of the first season, which will consist of 5 parts, is primarily expected to bring a substantial boost to the story. For those familiar with the Defiance universe: You will likely learn more about the Biodyne Project and the Republic of Earth. Numerous backgrounds are expected to be clarified, and eleven new cutscenes will come. The starting point of the story in Gunslinger Trial will be the disappearance of Karl von Bach, who is well-known from the main story of Defiance. The three new mission lines will be presented to us arch hunters by three different members of Von Bach Industries. These include:
- Azumi Yoshida – The former COO of Von Bach Industries and current CEO.
- Uvan Johaar – Senior Technician at Von Bach Industries.
- Raizar Zandijur – VBI consultant for the Republic of Earth (and perhaps Von Bach Industries?).
What else will there be and what do I get as an arch hunter?
Furthermore, there will be a conspiracy regarding the EGO implants, the rise of a new power within the Republic of Earth, and the revival of the Biodyne project.
Those who assist the somewhat strange acting company of the disappeared Karl (von Bach) will be rewarded with new specialized equipment. Additionally, brave arch hunters, if not gunmen, will have the chance to earn fame and honor in 9 new arenas. Here it will be known: Four arch hunters for a Hallelujah, oh nonsense, I mean of course, and a high score! 😉
And what is really nice about the arena changes is that the old Thorn Liro arenas will also be opened for groups with DLC number 4. So again: Four arch hunters for a… well, you already know it.
More information about the next Defiance DLC Gunslinger Trials is expected in the coming weeks. Allegedly, there is still plenty to tell about it. Accordingly, we will keep you updated.
