In Defiance (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) the 3rd anniversary celebrations are underway, offering many rewards. We have the details.
The Ceasefire Remembrance Celebration in Defiance
Defiance is turning 3 years old. As Trionworlds has now announced, the birthday will be celebrated properly with plenty of in-game events where players could grab numerous rewards that are normally only available during specific seasons. The festival, compactly named the Ceasefire Remembrance Celebration, lasts from April 1 to April 25.
The highlight of the celebration is the Arkfalls, where pieces of spaceships from various races continuously crash to Earth. Attracted by the debris (and potential loot), locals and Ark hunters gather to make the most of the scrap – at least until players come to take care of business. A total of 5 Arkfalls take place simultaneously, which would otherwise only occur during specific seasons:
- Midsummer Rebellion
- Hellishly Colossal
- Harvest Time in the New Frontier
- Solstice Assault
- Love Greetings from the Colony
The similarly named synergy supply crates are also available in the in-game shop for the duration of the celebrations.
Additionally, players can earn 1000 reputation points each day with the “Survivors of Defiance” faction through daily quests and secure random event jackpots that also come with (of course also random) rewards.
