Seven
Is Seven beginner-friendly? Yes.
All talents of Seven:
- Lightning Ball: Shoot a lightning ball that moves in a straight line. Deals damage to all targets in its radius. Slows down when damaging enemies and stops when it hits the ground.
- Static Charge: Apply a charge to an opposing hero. After a short duration, the static charge stuns enemies in the radius and deals damage.
- Power Surge: Empower your weapon with a shock effect so that your bullets deal shock damage to your target. This shock damage rebounds off enemies near your target. Occurs once per burst shot.
- Storm Cloud: Activate an expanding storm cloud around you that deals damage to all enemies in its radius.
Shiv
Is Shiv beginner-friendly? No.
All talents of Shiv:
- Serrated Knives: Throw a knife that deals damage to an enemy and slows them down. Each further hit adds a stack and updates the duration of the debuff, increasing damage per stack. Ultimate Unlock: When rage is full, knives bounce off another enemy and slow opponents who are bleeding.
- Slice and Dice: Execute a dash forward and damage enemies along the way. Ultimate Unlock: When rage is full, an echo of Shiv follows the path of the dash back after a short delay and deals damage to enemies again.
- Bloodletting: Take only part of the incoming damage immediately and shift the rest to endure over time. Activate to eliminate part of the delayed damage.
- Killing Blow: Activate to jump on an enemy hero and kill them instantly if their health is below the kill threshold; otherwise, deal 200 damage.
Vindicta
Is Vindicta beginner-friendly? Yes.
All talents of Vindicta:
- Stake: Throw a stake that binds enemies to the spot where the stake lands. The opponent’s movement is restricted to the length of the tether.
- Flight: Jump into the air and fly. While flying, your weapon deals additional spirit damage.
- Crow Familiar: Your crow familiar deals impact damage and causes a bleed that deals damage based on the target’s current health.
- Assassinate: Use your sniper rifle to take a powerful shot from long range. Deals extra damage to enemies with less than 50% remaining health. If you deliver a lethal blow to a player with Assassinate, you gain bonus souls.
Viscous
Is Viscous beginner-friendly? No.
All talents of Viscous:
- Splatter: Throw a goo ball that deals damage and leaves puddles of goo that slow the movement of enemies in the vicinity. The goo puddles remain on the ground and slow the movement of enemies who walk on them.
- The Cube: Envelop the target in a cube of restorative goo that removes debuffs, protects from damage, and increases health regeneration. The target cannot perform new actions while stuck in the cube. Can also be applied to yourself. Press [SPACE] to escape early.
- Puddle Punch: Materialize a fist in the world that hits units in the vicinity and launches them into the air. Enemies take damage, have a reduced dash distance for a short moment, and are slowed in their movement.
- Goo Ball: Transform into a large goo ball that deals damage and stuns opponents on impact. The ball grants significant amounts of bullet and spirit resistance, bounces off walls, and can double jump.
Warden
Is Warden beginner-friendly? No.
All talents of Warden:
- Alchemical Flask: Smash an alchemical flask at your feet that deals damage to all enemies in its radius, slows them down, and reduces their weapon damage.
- Willpower: Gain a spirit shield that provides additional movement speed while active. The shield also blocks spirit damage-based effects.
- Binding Word: Curse an opposing hero. If they do not move away from their original position within the escape time, they will be damaged and immobilized.
- Last Stand: After a charge time of 2.2s, pulses are released that deal damage to enemies and heal you depending on the damage dealt.
Wraith
Is Wraith beginner-friendly? Yes.
All talents of Wraith:
- Royal Flush: Throw telekinetically cards that hit random targets around you.
- Project Mind: Teleport to the desired location.
- Full Auto: Temporarily increases your fire rate. Nearby allies receive half of the fire rate bonus.
- Telekinesis: Lifts an opposing hero into the air, interrupting them and preventing them from using abilities and items for a short time. When your action ends, the target takes telekinesis damage.
Yamato
Is Yamato beginner-friendly? No.
All talents of Yamato:
- Power Slash: Activate to increase damage over 1.5 seconds, then unleash a fully charged sword strike. Press [1] or [LMC] to trigger the strike early and deal partial damage.
- Flying Strike: Throws a grappling hook to swing toward an opponent and deal damage to the target and slow it when you reach your target.
- Crimson Slash: Slash your enemies in front of you, deal damage, and slow their fire rate. When enemy heroes are hit, you will be healed.
- Shadow Transformation: Infuse yourself with Yamato’s shadow soul. After an initial invulnerable transformation, your abilities refresh and are 60% faster, your weapon has infinite ammo, and you gain damage resistances and immunity to negative status effects. In this mode, you cannot die.
