Dead by Daylight brings siamese twins as killers. The two are “intertwined” – and in a macabre way.
It seems that Dead by Daylight aims to become even more disturbing and grotesque with each patch. At least the next killer named “Twins”, so twins, exceeds expectations significantly. They are not a Wendigo, but they are twice as creepy. One of them is a mutated, deformed child, while the other is a woman with a huge hole in her chest, into which the child can crawl. It looks as disgusting as it sounds.
We will tell you what is all included in the new chapter “A Binding of Kin”.
What can the twins do? The twins are the first killer in Dead by Daylight that consists of two characters. At the beginning, you control Charlotte. She is basically a standard killer with a normal movement speed of 115% and a terror radius of 32 meters.
However, Charlotte can use her power to release Victor from herself. The little brother then climbs out of Charlotte and stays on the ground. If you press the ability button again, you take direct control of Victor while Charlotte remains motionless.
Victor is small and extremely agile. He can charge a leap attack to jump over some obstacles. If he hits a healthy survivor with his jump, then Victor attaches to them, injures them, and inflicts the statuses “Broken”, “Oblivious”, and “Mangled”. The victim cannot enter lockers or leave the map through the gate during this time. Auras of survivors nearby are revealed. The survivor can perform the action “Remove” to strike Victor down.
If Victor crashes into an object with his leap attack, he is briefly stunned. Even then, survivors can strike him down.
If Victor is struck down, he grows back into Charlotte after a short time, until he is operational again.
However, Victor can do even more. The killer can leave Victor anywhere and take back control of Charlotte. In that case, Victor reveals all survivors nearby with the “Killer Instinct” effect. However, Victor can also be struck down in this state.

These are the perks of the twins
Like all killers, the twins also have three perks that are initially only available to them. Once the teachable version is unlocked in the bloodweb, all other killers can also find these perks in their bloodwebs.
- Hoarder: Two additional chests are created in the match, the quality of the items in those chests is reduced. The killer gets a signal when a survivor starts searching a chest within a radius of 24 / 36 / 48 meters.
- Suppression: When the killer damages a generator, up to 3 additional generators are damaged. If survivors are present on these generators, they receive a hard skill check. This perk can only be used once every 120 / 100 / 80 seconds.
- Last Rites: Every time a generator is fully repaired, the killer receives a token. He can use a token to increase the attack range of his next strong attack by 100%.
These are the perks of the survivor Elodie Beamount
Of course, the new chapter also brings a survivor, this time the woman Elodie Beamount. Like all survivors, Elodie has three unique perks that are initially only available to her. However, you can unlock them in the bloodweb as teachable perks and then also find them with other survivors in their bloodwebs.
- Assessment: The survivor starts the round with 3 tokens. If a chest has already been opened, a token can be used to search that chest again. Additionally, the survivor opens chests 40% / 60% / 80% faster.
- Deception: While the survivor is sprinting, they cannot enter lockers, but instead create a loud noise at the location of the locker. For the next 3 seconds, the survivor leaves no scratch marks. Deception can only be triggered once every 60 / 50 / 40 seconds.
- Wild Escape: When the survivor is carried by the killer, they must escape up to 35% / 30% / 25% to activate the perk. Once done, the survivor can knock down an upright pallet nearby – if available – to stun the killer and free themselves. After that, the perk is deactivated.
Whether these perks will make it into the top 10 perks for survivors remains to be seen.
When will the chapter be released? There is no release date for the chapter “A Binding of Kin” yet. Usually, this is 2 – 3 weeks after the trailer, so around the end of November or early December. However, on PC, you can download the PTR via Steam to try out the new killer or the new survivor.
