Better chances to escape the killer as a survivor in Dead by Daylight.
To provide more variety in the multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight, the developers have designed over 48 perks for survivors and killers. With these improvements, survivors have a greater chance of successfully escaping from the killer. Perks have 3 different tiers that affect their effectiveness – Additionally, the perks are divided into rarity tiers:
The Survivor Perks Overview
New perk levels are gained when your characters reach a new level – the weaker perks are automatically replaced by the new ones. There are 6 different rarity tiers for perks:
- 1: Brown (common)
- 2: Yellow (uncommon)
- 3: Green (rare)
- 4: Purple (very rare)
- 5: Magenta (ultra-rare)
- 6: Orange (teachables)
With various items and add-ons, you also have better chances of escaping the killer.
Medkit: You can apply this to yourself or other survivors.
- Butterfly Tape: Increases healing duration.
- Medical Scissors: Increases healing speed.
- Bandages: Provide additional charges.
Flashlight: With the flashlight, you can stun or blind the killer.
- Wide Lens: The light beam widens but loses range.
- Focus Lens: Light strength and range are increased, but the beam is narrower.
- Power Bulb: Increases the blinding effect against the killer.
- Low Amp Filament: Reduces battery consumption.
- Leather Grip: Provides improved accuracy.
- Heavy Duty Battery: The strong battery provides extra brightness time.
Toolbox: You can use this item to destroy the hooks of the killers or to repair generators faster.
- Wire Spool: Provides 50 additional charges.
- Metal Saw: Increases sabotage speed.
- Clean Rag: Increases repair speed.
- Common Rag: Increases repair speed.
Map: Nearby objects become visible for a short time.
- Retardant Jelly: Slows the burn duration.
- Odd Stamp: Increases the range of chase abilities.
Skeleton Key: To escape, you unlock the “Hatch”.
- Eroded Token: The auras of survivors are revealed.
- Prayer Robe: Adds 10 seconds of usage time.
