Dead by Daylight has revealed all details about Ghost Face. We’ll tell you what the new killer from the Scream movies can do, what perks he has, and when he will appear.
As part of the big stream for the 3rd anniversary of Dead by Daylight, the developers have released a lot of details about the upcoming changes and innovations in the 4vs1 horror game. The most eagerly awaited announcement was the full reveal of Ghost Face, the next killer in Dead by Daylight. We’ll tell you what the killer with the iconic mask can do.
This is how Ghost Face’s abilities work: As already known through the leaks, Ghost Face will be able to switch to a crouching position and move stealthily. According to current plans, he will be able to do this without losing movement speed.
While he approaches, he can peek around corners and “stalk” the survivors. This happens individually, so he has a unique stalk progress for each survivor. Once he stalks a survivor for 4 seconds straight, they will be marked as “Exposed” for 20 seconds, meaning they will go down in one hit.
The interesting thing is: Survivors can break the “stalking” if they look directly towards Ghost Face for at least one second and spot him.
This time it is the killer who must sneak and not be detected until he strikes!
Here are Ghost Face’s perks: Like all other killers, Ghost Face comes with three unique perks that are only available to him at the start. As usual, the perks can also be unlocked in their “teachables” variant and then made accessible to other killers.
- I’m all Ears: If survivors perform a hasty action outside your terror radius (such as rushing over pallets, jumping out of lockers, or climbing through windows), their aura will be shown to the killer for a few seconds.
- Thrilling Tremors: If the killer interrupts a survivor (for example, pulls them away from a generator, grabs them while vaulting over a pallet or window, or pulls them away from a totem), all generators that are not being worked on will be blocked by The Entity for 16 seconds and shown to the killer. This lets the killer know which generators are currently being worked on.
- Furtive Chause: When the killer hangs his obsession on the hook, he gains a token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4. Each token decreases the terror radius during the chase by 4 meters. If a survivor rescues the obsession from the hook, they become the new obsession. If the obsession dies, the killer loses all tokens.
When does Ghost Face appear? The official release date for Ghost Face is June 18, 2019, which is in almost 3 weeks. However, the test server will start next week on June 4, where Ghost Face will be tested extensively.
The cost of the chapter with Ghost Face has not yet been revealed.
