Dead by Daylight takes the plunge onto consoles. The horror game will be released this spring on PS4 and Xbox One.
A few months ago, the developers of Dead by Daylight announced that the game would also be released on the consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A specific release date could not be provided at that time, as people were just being hired to enable the port to the consoles.
In America, the game will be released on June 20, while in Europe the release of Dead by Daylight on PS4 and Xbox One will take place on June 23, 2017.

The price is currently set at $30, which is about $10 more than the PC version. However, the console version already comes with the following DLCs:
- Original Soundtrack
- The 80’s Suitcase (Cosmetic Items)
- The Bloodstained Sack (Cosmetic Items)
- Chapter: “Of Flesh and Mud” (New Killer and Survivor)
- An additional DLC that has not been announced yet
It is still unclear whether the Halloween DLC will come to the console, as this could lead to licensing issues.
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical horror game resembling a dark hide-and-seek. One player takes on the role of an overpowered killer, who uses special abilities to injure, down, and then sacrifice his victims to a sinister deity.
The other four players are the survivors, who must hide from the killer and activate generators. Only when enough generators are repaired can they escape the map. Since the killer always knows where the generators are, contact is inevitable. In contrast to the killer, the survivors play from a third-person perspective, giving them a tactical advantage to evade the killer.
