Pyramid Head in Dead by Daylight has a gruesome Mori animation. We show how he quickly eliminates his victims from the game.
When a new killer is released in Dead by Daylight, one of the highlights is the Mori animation. Also, “Pyramid Head” aka “The Executioner” comes with such an animation that he can use to remove particularly unwanted survivors from the match. As usual, this animation is quite gruesome, but it fits well with the killer from the “Silent Hill” universe.
What is the Mori animation? The Mori animation is a special execution that killers can perform under specific conditions. Usually, this is done by using a special perk or offerings. This Mori execution is different for every killer. Each killer has their own animation for it that suits their character.
This shows the Mori animation: The Executioner lifts his victim by the collar off the ground and hoists it into the air. A metal coil emerges from the ground, which is shortly thereafter wrapped in barbed wire and tightly secures itself around the survivor. The Executioner then swings his sword and drives it directly into his victim’s stomach. The huge blade is rotated once and then pulled out again, before the metal coil dissolves and the (formerly) survivor falls lifeless to the ground.
The nasty Mori animations of the other killers we have here:
- The Deathslinger was particularly nasty with his harpoon gun
- The Oni even rips players’ tongues out
- The Demogorgon (Stranger Things) takes the whole head
By the way: The Executioner also has a second “small” Mori, which is directly built into his abilities. When a survivor has the debuff “Torture,” is lying on the ground, and would die next Halen, the Executioner can directly kill this survivor. He then strikes with the sword once along his victim and makes short work of it.
What do you think of “Pyramid Head” and his Mori animation? Cool and interesting? Or rather boring compared to other killers?
