The latest DLC for Dead by Daylight is live. It introduces a new killer that is sure to please fans of “Silent Hill” and brings fresh excitement.
The developers of Dead by Daylight have secured some major licenses over the past few years. After Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, and even the Demogorgon from Stranger Things, there is now another well-known killer. This time it is “Pyramid Head”, an antagonist from the horror series Silent Hill.
What can the new killer do? Pyramid Head, also known as “The Executioner”, is likely to become a real monster among the killers. He can hit survivors even through walls.
Additionally, he can spread barbed wire on the map, which causes survivors to scream and become cursed. Cursed survivors can then be locked in special cages by the killer, where they are slowly sacrificed – just like on a hook.

The new map is free: As usual, the new “Midwich Elementary School” map is available to all players and does not need to be purchased. You now have the chance to play matches on the new map and can also find special offerings in the blood web to increase this chance.
The map is, by the way, one of the most devious so far – there are plenty of creepy sounds that can distract from killers or survivors.
How much does the DLC cost? The new “Silent Hill” chapter is available for €7 in the shop. Alternatively, you can also purchase both characters for 500 Auric Cells each. Since both are licensed characters, purchasing with Bloodpoints is unfortunately not possible – real money must be paid in any case.
Dead by Daylight has a lot of new features planned for this year. There is to be a major graphic update that will bring all textures and animations to “HD level”. Additionally, crossplay for all platforms is expected to be introduced later this year. Then PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch could play together.
