The superhero-and-supervillain MMO DC Universe Online is set to release soon on the Xbox One.
At Pax East in Boston, Daybreak Game Company (formerly known as SOE) presented a new trailer for its flagship DC Universe Online. It is expected to come to Xbox One soon.
DC Universe Online was released in 2011 for PC and PlayStation 3, and in 2013, the title was released on PlayStation 4. The Xbox One version is set to release in the next 2 months, dated for Q2 2016. DC Universe Online is a free-to-play title and has proven to be a real flagship for DGC .
The delayed port of the title to Xbox One is due to the developer company only separating from Sony last year, thus now being able to port its own titles to the Xbox One. This was apparently not possible before.
Currently, DC Universe Online receives a new content patch every month. The content is introduced to the game in episode form. Premium members with an active subscription play these. Non-subscribers can purchase the episodes individually.
